Referral scheme

Who can take part?

• The scheme is open to existing Design M clients aged 18 or over. Both individuals and businesses can make referrals.
• The reward applies to the referee’s first qualifying website design project with Design M only.

What counts as a qualifying referral?

• The referral must be for a new client who has not previously approached Design M, is not already an active prospect and has not already been referred by someone else.
• The referral must be a genuine introduction to a business that is actively looking for a website design company.
• The referee must book a qualifying website design project worth more than £1,000.
• Each new client can only be referred by one person. We’ll recognise the first valid referral received by Design M.
• Only one reward can be paid for each new client.
• Self-referrals and duplicate claims are not eligible.
• Design M reserves the right to reject referrals that are unsuitable for our services.

When will the reward be paid?

• We’ll pay the £100 reward to you (the referrer) after the referee has completed their first qualifying website design project and paid the final balance due.
• We’ll contact you by email to confirm that you’ve earned a reward and request the bank details needed to make the payment.
• Rewards cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for any other benefit.
• If you live outside the UK, international transfer fees and currency exchange rates may affect the amount you receive.

Scheme changes and cancellations

Design M may amend, suspend, extend or end the referral scheme at any time. We may also change the reward amount, introduce referral limits or update the eligibility requirements. Any updated terms will be published on our website.

If the scheme is suspended or ends, we’ll honour eligible referrals already in progress, provided they meet the terms that applied when the referral was accepted.

Referral scheme commencement date: 19/10/2026. Referrals received before this date do not qualify.

When might a reward be refused?

Design M reserves the right to refuse a reward if:

• You have breached these terms and conditions.
• Making the payment would be unlawful or would breach a court order.
• A technical issue has materially affected the referral or reward process.
• We reasonably suspect fraud, criminal activity or an attempt to manipulate the scheme.
• We reasonably believe the scheme is being abused or that the referral could harm Design M’s reputation.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Design M will not be liable for any costs, losses or damages arising from participation in the scheme, making or receiving a referral, the suspension, amendment or termination of the scheme, or the refusal to pay a reward.

Tax responsibilities

You are responsible for declaring any referral rewards and paying any tax due. If you are unsure how a payment may affect your tax position, please seek independent tax advice.
