When getting a new website designed for your business, it is a good idea to consider whether you would also benefit from a professional photography service to complement the build.
What are the benefits of website photography?
At Design M, we provide an additional commercial and corporate photography option to local businesses that come to us for their website design. There are many benefits to this. One of which is that we know exactly what photos will work well to complement the site design throughout, and we can therefore aim to take those photographs specifically.
The new website design itself can then be created with the new photographs in mind, as key elements will have been photographed for specific usage on the website. For example, page photos, gallery photos, buttons, headers, sliders, meet the team, product types, services, and more. The finished website will then give a unique and very ‘real’ sense of the business. The result of which will create the feeling of a smooth and seamless online journey for your customers, where the photos are not just additional add-ons but are instead a well thought-out part of the website build as a whole, therefore providing a better user experience.
At Design M, we also provide our professional photographs as high resolution files. This means that our clients can then use our images for a range of additional promotional purposes, such as printed brochures, product and services’ case studies and leaflets.
Case study:
www.middlefarm.com
A working family farm with a cider barn, tea room and shop, based in Firle, Lewes.
Middle Farm contacted us to design a whole new website for their well-known East Sussex farm business. At the same time, they also commissioned our photography service so that we could provide them with a full set of images to use throughout the new site design.
To enable us to capture various seasonal changes on the farm, we visited their premises a number of times to take photographs. Photos were taken throughout the farm grounds and open farm (which included meeting some very friendly animals!), inside the tea room, produce and gift shop, cider barn and butchery, and included lots of close up shots of delicious cakes, cheeses, meat and produce.
The result is Middle Farm’s stylish, modern and colourful website, which beautifully demonstrates the benefits of using unique, professional photographs of your real business instead of impersonal stock library images.
